Febie Booher, a 17-year-old from Orland, Indiana, has died following a two-vehicle collision in Steuben County on the morning of June 16. According to the Steuben County Sheriff’s Office, the crash occurred at the intersection of State Road 327 and County Road 350 North in Jackson Township. Investigators reported that Febie was driving a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu when it entered the intersection and was struck by a northbound Ford F-150 driven by a 36-year-old woman from Orland.
Emergency responders, including Orland Fire Rescue and Steuben County EMS, arrived quickly and provided immediate life-saving efforts at the scene. Despite their response, Febie was pronounced deceased at the location of the crash. Authorities have stated that alcohol is not believed to have played a role in the collision, though the investigation remains ongoing as officials continue to review the circumstances surrounding the incident.
